The Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam assess a student’s basic knowledge of securities industry topics fundamental to working in the industry. It is a prerequisite to working within the financial services industry.

What are the benefits?
Those who are not currently sponsored in the industry can take the SIE exam as a way to stand out against competitors and get a leg up on the path toward a career in the financial industry.
Although passing the SIE exam does not qualify individuals to begin engaging in the securities business, it offers applicants a step in the right direction.
To work in the securities business, applicants must also pass a qualification exam for the type of business they are pursuing, which will require sponsorship from the FINRA member firm they are associated with.

MY NAME IS LILLIAN
Having the pleasure of instructing classes and interacting with students on insurance, taxes, retirement, and annuities for over twelve (15+) years has been rewarding.
My instruction includes focusing, being present, and encouraging students’ intuition when taking exams. Humor, music, and real-life stories are used throughout the class to teach new topics.
When using these techniques, students are able to relax, comprehend, and feel confident. I believe those are some of the reasons my pass ratio for instructing students is above average.
